The UK's jungle scene was picking up momentum and creating new anthems. Goldie's Metalheadz stable was running the underground. Seminal releases included Doc Scott's Drums '95 and Alex Reece's Pulp Fiction. The latter's minimal beat - that no longer used funk breakbeats - was to have a massive effect on the future of jungle/drum & bass.
