1XTRA NEWS: THE REAL TALK OF THE STREETS
Sick of social networking?
Facebook
Fed-up of Facebook? Moaning at Myspace? Social networking fatigue may have set in.
In the US, users of sites like MySpace, Bebo and Facebook are logging in less, and spending less time on the site when they do, new research shows.

While the overall number of users continues to rise, the time people spend on the sites is falling.

Some experts say "in-your-face" ads are partly to blame, as are spam friend messages, annoying third-party applications, and the fact lots of workplaces are banning employees from looking at the sites in work time.
What do you think? Are you getting tired of sites like MySpace and Facebook? Sick of spam friends and zombie invitations? Or are you still logging in as much as ever? Send us your thoughts.

I think that any social networking sites are pointless and are there only for people to be vein i would only ever consider having a social networking site if it was the only way i could keep in touch with friends and family, but i do think that msn is ok.

It frankly amazing that there is another social network with millions of users, has almost no spam, almost no adverts, and doesn't need a computer to use it, just regular text messages on a mobile phone (though most do through a computer). Yet despite that, it is never mentioned by the ´óÏó´«Ã½! Is it ignorance? Lack of awareness? That social network is Twitter and is far more functional and sociable than the those mentioned.
