Muse have broken into the top of the album chart in the US with their fifth album.
The Resistance, which is officially the fastest selling album of the group's career, is sitting at number three in the Billboard 200, below Jay Z and Whitney Houston.
It is their highest ever US chart entry - Black Holes and Revelations reached number nine in 2006, Absolution peaked at 107 in 2004 and their previous two records didn't chart.
The gargantuan effort, complete with Bellamy-written orchestral arrangement, has garnered four out of five star reviews from The Times, The Guardian, Q Magazine, Uncut and Mojo.
The band, who have built up a fan base in the US, through extensive touring, remain at number one in album charts around the world including Australia, Korea, Mexico and Switzerland.
"They've made me look really muscley, which is quite funny because I'm not at all."

Their music has also entered the world of video games, with Matt Bellamy now a character in Guitar Hero.
"I’ve seen the avatar of myself and they’ve made me look really muscley, which is quite funny because I’m not at all," he told 6 Music.
"I’m almost insulted by it," he joked. "That they don’t accept my body as it is, that they need to make me look like some kind of action man for it to be a sellable product - but it was cool."
The singer also revealed he’d like the rest of the band to be involved and to make a game with all the songs of Muse, played by Muse.
If you want to hear Matt Bellamy and drummer Dominic Howard playing an entertaining word association about the album, listen again to the Music Week.
