Thom Yorke has unveiled details of a new band and two LA shows in early October.
It consists of Flea from Red Hot Chili Peppers, long-time Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich, drummer Joey Waronker who has performed with the likes of R.E.M and the Smashing Pumpkins and Mauro Refosco.
They will perform songs from Yorke’s 2006 solo album The Eraser at the Orpheum Theatre on 4 and 5 October.
Writing on Radiohead’s official site , Yorke said: "In the past couple of weeks I've been getting a band together for fun to play the Eraser stuff live and the new songs etc... to see if it could work!
"We don't really have a name and the set will not be very long cuz ..well ...we haven't got that much material yet!"
The singer also posted a picture of the line-up (see above).
