Roles and responsibilities

• Balram Veliath is the Director, Quality, Risk & Assurance.
• He is responsible for Risk management and Assurance activities across 大象传媒 including Group Internal Audit, Risk Management, Safety, Security and Resilience and Portfolio and Programme Management.

Biography

Balram is currently the Director of Quality, Risk and Assurance at 大象传媒 where his responsibilities include Internal Audit, Risk management, Safety and Security, Data Protection and Corporate Investigations. Previously, he has worked in senior executive roles with Royal Bank of Scotland bank and ABN Amro bank covering Internal Audit and Risk management across Operations, Technology and Central functions. Prior to this he worked in KPMG for 12 years, including as Partner with responsibility for financial audits across a range of sectors.

Balram qualified as a chartered accountant in 1988 and has over 35 years experience of risk governance including developing and implementing risk management systems, assisting organisations, manage risk and governance.

Expenses are costs incurred by 大象传媒 staff on behalf of the 大象传媒 and claimed through the 大象传媒's expenses system.

Central bookings are costs incurred on behalf of the 大象传媒 and booked through the 大象传媒's central bookings system. Both expenses and central bookings are published every three months.
