Roles and responsibilities
Chinny is the ´óÏó´«Ã½â€™s first Group Director of Diversity & Inclusion. She oversees the full spectrum of Diversity & Inclusion efforts across the Group and around the world.
She is responsible for ensuring that diversity and inclusion are at the heart of everything the ´óÏó´«Ã½ does to inform, educate and entertain its global audience of half a billion people each week and support its global workforce.
This includes strategies to foster inclusion, develop accessible products and services and embed diversity and inclusion in commissioning and production practices. She also leads the Corporation to ensure that its workforce, content, talent (on-air, on-screen and production) and production partners reflect and represent the audiences we serve.
Biography
Chinny joined the ´óÏó´«Ã½ as its first Group Director of Diversity & Inclusion in November 2022. She oversees the full spectrum of Diversity & Inclusion efforts – workforce, creative, technology - across the Group and around the world.
Prior to joining the ´óÏó´«Ã½, Chinny worked in a number of senior executive positions. She was previously the Director of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at L’Oréal where she drove inclusive beauty standards across the UK and enhanced employee and customer experiences by embedding diversity, equity and inclusion at every stage of the employee lifecycle and in marketing, communication and advertising. She also sat on the British Beauty Council’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee, driving inclusion in the UK beauty industry. Prior to this, Chinny was the Global Head of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at Depop, where she helped to democratise access to fashion for Gen Z and build an inclusive and culturally relevant brand that was eventually acquired by Etsy for $1.6bn+. Earlier in her career, Chinny worked in Finance where she held various roles and led transformative Diversity & Inclusion strategies.
Chinny is a thought leader on driving innovation and cultural relevance through diversity, equity and inclusion.

Expenses and central bookings
Expenses are costs incurred by ´óÏó´«Ã½ staff on behalf of the ´óÏó´«Ã½ and claimed through the ´óÏó´«Ã½'s expenses system.
Central bookings are costs incurred on behalf of the ´óÏó´«Ã½ and booked through the ´óÏó´«Ã½'s central bookings system. Both expenses and central bookings are published every three months.
