Martin Dougan is one of the most recognisable faces on children鈥檚 TV. He鈥檚 currently hosting the 大象传媒鈥檚 award-winning children鈥檚 news programme, Newsround.
Born in Glasgow with a disability (Cerebral Palsy) Martin found a career in wheelchair basketball at a young age and developed his passion for sports. Martin became a well-travelled broadcaster following the success of his reporting on the London 2012 Paralympic Games. He has reported around the world from sporting events in Brazil, to the rising sea levels on the South Pacific, covering a range of different topics. When he鈥檚 not traveling, Martin loves attending music gigs, festivals and spending time with his girlfriend Amy and daughter, Jessica.

Lucy Webster

Lucy is a journalist, writer and disability advocate. Her work, which has been featured in The Guardian, The Sunday Times, The FT and others, focuses on demystifying disability and challenging ableism. Her debut book, The View From Down Here, a memoir looking at the intersection of disability and womanhood, is out in September with DK Books.
Her newsletter of the same name is one of the leading disability publications on Substack, and she is well-known on social media for raising awareness of disability and ableism. Before going freelance, Lucy was a political reporter for 大象传媒 News.
