These three exquisite items of clothing consist of a woman's dress, a child's dress (possibly altered down from an adult's or older child's dress) and a man's waistcoat (front pieces). They have been painstakingly hand-woven and embroidered by the Huguenot weavers that settled in England following religious persecution in France.
