A Business Card

Objects from this contributor

It's only a business card and a cheap one at that. White with a blue graphic that looks like the sun or moon in the centre of a sunrise above and night sky below. The card is for a restaurant in the building that my son worked in doing IT training in 2000. We used to meet up with him for drinks after work and got to know some of the staff. For our last night in the city with Tim we thought it would be fun to eat there. I made the reservation but got the main restaurant not the bar. We turned up at the due time and, because of the confusion, my son had to borrow a jacket. We had a great evening, the buffalo steak was delicious and as for the bill; it's not every day you can eat with a view like this. The name of the restaurant "Windows on the World" but don't try and book up; it closed somewhat abruptly on Sep 11 2001.
