Commemorative souvenir cigarette box

This is a commemorative box containing cigs and matches, presented at a dinner at Guildhall as a "farewell " to individual London Boroughs on the eve of formation of GLC ( I think. )
Mainly it reminds me of the person it was presented to Miss Odlum ('Oddy') a lovely elderly school teacher, from the era when teachers had to leave profession if married.
