Marshalls Threshing Machine

Dennis bought this working machine in 1978. It was originally sold at the Bath and West Show in 1929. The machine was built in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire and is made of oak and ash. It can still thresh oats, barley and wheat. When used on the farms it took ten people to work it and threshing was a real community event. Combine harvesters now operate with only two people.
