Michael says that in 1944 or 5 the Streatham home of the sculptor/artist, Kathleen Jackson was bombed. She used my Grandmother's attic as a studio. She used to do some work for Madame Tussaud: tableaux of children's stories and she even did Princess Elizabeth (before she became the Queen), the Prince and Danny Kaye for the waxworks. She took me as an 11 year old to the bombed house where we found some bomb damaged 8 inch figures of St George and the Dragon. She let me have the least damaged which is probably worthless but means a lot to me! I do not know if any of them was marketed.
