THESE PROGRAMMES REMIND ME OF THE SATURDAYS WHEN I WENT TO WATCH CRYSTAL PALACE FOOTBALL CLUB IN THE DAYS WHEN THEY WERE IN THE THIRD DIVISION. MY FATHER FIRST TOOK ME WHEN I WAS TEN YEARS OLD IN 1946. IN THOSE DAYS NOT MANY YOUNG GIRLS AND CERTAINLY NOT BOYS SUPPORTED MY BELOVED TEAM. THEY WERE MORE LIKELY TO SUPPORT ARSENAL OR CHELSEA.
