Scrapbook about Uncles Football Career

This is my dad's scrap book about his brother, my uncle, Ray Gooding. He started playing footbal for Coventry City in 1976 at the age of 17. He also played against top teams such as Manchester United and Liverpool. He made the front cover of a famous footbal magazine called The Match which is included in the scrapbook. There are several headlines in the book from popular newspapers at the time like 'It's a Gooding Win'. Ray played his football in the English First Division now known as the Premiership. Unfortunatly due to an injury he stopped playing at the age of 24.

Hi, I remember playing with Ray Gooding at Elwick Road juniors in 1969/70. Of course, he was the best player in the team! I still pass the old pitch on Elwick Road every day. I cant remember the names of other players in the team (except perhaps Terry Cockerell?).
I hope Ray is doing well.
