Episode 41
Sìleas is delighted that she persuaded Marsaili to come to the Fairy Bridge; she can feel the magic in the air! She closes her eyes and imagines the MacLeod Chieftain being given the Flag by his parting fairy bride.
In the area of Waternish, there is plenty of history and folklore. The oldest inn in Skye is located there. The ruins of Trumpan Church, where the Massacre of Trumpan Church and the ensuing Battle of the Spoiled Dyke can also be found in the Waternish peninsula. The MacLeods of Dunvegan allegedly unfurled the Fairy flag there to summon the fairy powers.
Sìleas has also heard of the Cat's Cairn, a cairn with a sinister legend attached, and wishes to look for it. Marsaili, however, is tired of the north end of Skye and wishes to investigate the legend of a Viking princess in Kyleakin and see where she is allegedly buried.
