Episode 51
"Mu dheireadh thall, tha mi ann am Miughalaigh" (At long last, I'm in Mingulay), exclaims EÃ irdsidh.
The trio make the most of their first morning on the uninhabited isle, roaming the land, surveying the puffins and numerous other seabirds. Sìleas muses on how silly she was to initially feel uncomfortable around Eà irdsidh, he's a scream and always good for a sing-song.
She looks forward to tomorrow when a historian-led tour group are scheduled to visit. She has arranged for herself, Marsaili and EÃ irdsidh to tag along and learn something of the island's history. Why, for example, is MacPhee's Hill so named?
"Chan eil rian air!" (It can't be!) cries Marsaili from the hillock where she has been sitting checking her online banking, of all things. The screen displays her balance - £0.00.
Marsaili wants to leave immediately. She needs a job – now.
