Welcome to the wonderful world of Caraidean, which means 'Friends' in Gaelic, a new online soap where you control what happens! Join Sìleas and Marsaili and their friends each week to listen to a new Gaelic phrase and decide what course their lives take.

Episode 60
So, the actual fishing hasn't gone so well but Sìleas and Marsaili are thoroughly enjoying the freedom of being on the ocean waves. They hatch a plan designed to prolong their maritime adventures.
They return only briefly to shore and offer their services as tour guides to the man from whom they hired the boat. With Marsaili's knowledge of history and Sìleas's experience of sailing as a teenager, they finally convince him that they could provide visitors with pleasant sea trips and promise to split any profit with him.
The boat owner tests their knowledge and runs through à irdean na combaist (compass points). Then, they're ready for the off.
Boat owner: "Feumaidh fios a bhith agaibh mu à irdean na combaist. (You need to know the compass points.)
