Episode 73

The girls finally agree to head off to Iona. As soon as they arrive, they are struck by the tranquillity of the place. S矛leas fancies taking a wander to the main town on Iona. It's called 鈥淏aile M貌r鈥, which translates into English as 鈥楤ig Town'. She's heard there is a bookshop there and she wants to absorb the peace and quiet with a good book.

Marsaili thinks this is absurd as the island is home to Iona Abbey. You could not find a place in Scotland steeped in so much history. Of course, she wants to make a beeline for it.

Marsaili: Tha an t-脿ite seo l脿n eachdraidh agus tha thusa ag iarraidh leabhar a leughadh!鈥 (This place is stuffed with history and you want to read a book)
