Episode One: Rolling with the lunches…

Keen to elect himself as Project Manager for team Logic, Edward decided to opt for the method of ‘rolling with the punches’ instead of a firm financial plan.  Pushing the idea of a liquid lunch, consisting of soup and fresh orange juice, Edward invested a large amount of the budget into purchasing 1400 oranges. The very same 1400 oranges had to be hand squeezed by the boys when the juicers broke down, causing them to miss the breakfast rush.

On the upside, the juice proved very popular, but without a firm plan for supply and demand in place, disaster was soon around the corner.  After announcing the boys had lost, Lord Sugar asked Edward why his accountancy skills weren’t used throughout the task. Edward replied that he thought it more important that he showed he could ‘lead’ a team.

Sadly this answer didn’t add up for Lord Sugar and Edward was the first candidate to be fired.

Edward was on losing team Logic. Their total profit was £432.1.
