Seven police cars have been taken out of service after bricks were thrown through their windows.

Humberside Police said the incidents took place in the Nunsthorpe area between 9 and 15 May, with those responsible fleeing on motorbikes.

Ch Insp Simon Duffield said officers would be "relentless" in their efforts to find those responsible.

He said such "mindless and targeted vandalism" posed a "significant risk to the drivers".

Appealing to the community's help to find the culprits, Mr Duffield said: "Someone will know who did this and I would appeal for people to contact us if they have information."
