This highly experienced group have been around since the eighties and were a major part of the ‘New Wave of British Heavy Metal’ scene in Reading. In fact, the band marks its 25th Anniversary in 2005. The band formed back in the mid seventies, and were regulars at the legendary Target Club (situated underneath the Butts Shopping Centre) and the Top Rank in Reading, and at the Marquee Club in London pulling record crowds. Their major musical influences include Rory Gallagher, Motörhead and Status Quo and they were most famous for their single Take A Walk / Seen You Here, which is now highly collectable fetching up to £100 a copy. They have recently re-formed after a six year break with a new line-up, and in September 2004 recorded and released their long awaited first studio album ‘mean’. The album has been selling very well across UK and Europe and is gaining rave reviews. Due to its success in fact, the organisers are planning to make it an annual event to promote local talent.
