Dave Cash

Broadcasting legend Dave Cash takes charge of 大象传媒 Radio Berkshire from 6pm til 9pm every Saturday and Sunday.

Dave Cash began his radio career on the pirate ships in the North Sea where he presented the "Kenny and Cash Show" with Kenny Everett.

Back on dry land he worked for Radio 1 then Capital in London before joining 大象传媒 Radio Kent in 1999.

Dave's mid-Atlantic drawl stems from spending his childhood in Vancouver, although he was actually born in England.

As well as his radio work he's presented TV programmes, written books and screenplays and he also had his own top 10 hit, "Groovy Baby"!

Now you can hear him every Saturday and Sunday from 6pm til 9pm.

Each night he'll present Cash's Countdown: on Saturdays he looks back at the week's chart from the 60s and 70s, and on Sunday he plays the cream of the 70s and 80s.

Dave cash really knows how to deliver pop with a crash - long may he continue to. I listened to the 70s music this Saturday and only now do I realise how absurd some of the tunes then were - great to hear Rosko on the show as well - will tune in on Radio Berkshire tomorrow for Johnnie Walker

Freddy Flowers
