Junkyard Scientists will be performing free every month at RISC - usually on the third Friday of every month. From 8pm to 1am, Junkyard Scientists will perform several live sets, including live jams and collaborations with guest vocalists, MCs and musicians. There will also be live sets from guest bands, which will include some of the finest eclectic local acts. There will also be visuals and DJ sets from Junkyard Scientists' DJ Solow. Junkyard Scientists The 10-piece band consists of everything from tablas to beatboxing to saxophones to laptops, and is a crazy mesh of funk, old skool hip-hop and drum n bass, with hints of jazz, rock, electronica and reggae too.
