Then it's every fourth Wednesday of the month for some unplugged chilled out live music from talented local artists. What's more: it's free! The launch night features a plethora of hot talent: Gerry Del Guerico from SixNationState is the lead singer of the 'hardest working band in show business'. Solo he was last seen supporting and keeping the crowd very happy at the famous Pete Doherty gig at the Fez Club in Reading. Gerry and the band will be playing live on Radio 2 on 18 August. Nexus Bloom Sid Siddle from Club Velocity, who are breaking away from their norm of loud gigs to provide you with acoustic mellowness, says the band's new single We Could Be Happy is their best to date. Aldershot's Matt Hegarty听is Club Velocity's MySpace discovery and was booked within 24 hours. Sid says: "Matt on MySpace is a genius! I've not been this excited about a song writer for (probably) years." Then finally it's Tom Barker of Nexus Bloom, who played some acoustic tracks on 大象传媒 Radio Berkshire's The Session Introducing in July. Grunge-tinged rock coupled with Tom's Cobain-esque voice makes for essential checked-shirt wig-outs. Acoustically Tom still sounds as intense the proverbial coiled spring. last updated: 16/08/07 SEE ALSOYou are in: Berkshire > Entertainment > Local bands > Bulletin Board > Acoustic nights at Club Velocity Berkshire jamcams
