THE SKIES (Headline)

Reading's very own howling rockers The Skies are an onslaught of good old-fashioned rock 'n' roll – mixing up classic outfits such as Guns n' Roses and The Rolling Stones with modern day stompers such as Jet.

D-FiNiTiVE

The band are currently receiving lots of national press after becoming one of the first bands worldwide to be granted £15,000 through slicethepie.com - a website where fans and investors can pledge cash for their favourite unsigned bands to record an album.

The band's debut release Bring It On also reached No. 26 in the HMV download charts.

The band are heading out on a national tour in September.

D-FiNiTiVE (2nd on)

D-FiNiTiVE are a four piece indie band from Kent, formed at New Year's in 2005.Ìý

Two brothers, Jacob and Caleb, provide the backbone to the group, and their influences include Idlewild, Athlete, and Red Hot Chili Peppers.

The boys have played in many big battle-of-the-bands competitions, including a national event at the Rock Garden in Covent Garden.ÌýÌý

D-FiNiTiVE were recently made Radio Kent FM's best unsigned band of 2006, and won a three-day recording session at the start of 2007.Ìý

D-finitive's album Just for Charlotte is out now.

THE ENIGMA PROJECT (opener)

Having all recently turned 18, it is incredible to think that the band have actually been together for six years.ÌýThis togetherness shines through when they play, and the Reading band have been able to hone their musical talents in the process.

Elements of Muse, Radiohead, and Biffy Clyro can be heard in their dynamic song writing.

The boys are launching their EP at a special gig in South Hill Park arts centre's Cellar Bar in Bracknell.
