The Repertoires After all the hard work the organisers put into creating the Come Together Festival 2007, Simon and Juliet of Scratchy Apache were disappointed that the summer's adverse weather conditions forced the cancellation of the festival. Refusing to let that dampen their spirits, the event organisers came up the concept of The Sunday Social to keep the festival fun alive and kicking. Juliet of Scratchy Apache says: "The Come Together Festival Committee hope that plans for the festival to take place next year will get off the ground soon. "In the meantime Simon from the committee and myself have set up our own independent events company to use our expertise to execute a range of arts events. "There's so much talent here in Reading it would be crazy not to!" Megan Henwood The Sunday Social at the Oakford Social Club is Scratchy Apache's first venture. The organisers feel it is a great opportunity to work with a greater number of bands and entertainers. Anyone who is interested in performing at the Sunday Social can get in touch via Scratchy Apache's My Space page.
