OK TOKYO

Reading based OK Tokyo are one of the hottest unsigned bands in the UK.

Club Velocity gave the 'adventure rock' trio their first ever gig back in April, andt his band haven't stopped buzzing.

They have played Glastonbury (by request of听大象传媒 Radio One), caused an A&R buzz on both sides of the Atlantic - this will only be their seventh gig!听

After this venture they head to Manchester, where they were hand-picked out of hundreds of bands to play the annual IN THE CITY - the three day A&R music industry festival. Where in past years the likes of Oasis, Coldplay and Muse have all been discovered. History in the making? You should coco!

HELLO WEMBLEY

Club Velocity hails Reading party antagonistics Hello Wembley as a truly genius UK punk band. In fact Velocity Records are releasing their debut single on November 26.

They've got their own Rowetta in the form of sultry-voiced Debbie, they've got a singer with tighter trousers than Tom Jones and they've got some cracking no-nonsense tunes such as Dancefloor Filler.

FLYIN' MUCKERS

Featuring ex-members of Ok Tokyo, why not have a mini band reunion by having these guys on the same bill. And we need to know if the Muckers are as sexy as the Flying Medallions or the Flying Lizards.

GIMBLE

If one band is going to get your ears perked up and ready for the other three, it's Gimble. Pop punk is here at its most playful and testosterone-fuelled. They've got a new blistering album out called Wish You Were Her.
