In the run up to the Beijing Olympics 大象传媒 Radio Berkshire is celebrating all things Chinese. So, what could be more fitting than to have Tommy Man, Chef-proprietor of the Jasmine restaurant in Windsor share his cooking expertise.

Tommy Man is Henry Kelly's Chef of the week from Monday 14 July until Friday 18 July 2008.

British born Tommy is of Chinese heritage and a French Chef by trade.
After graduating in Hotel Management he decided to turn his talents to cooking.

His formal gastronomic training took place in London and Hong Kong. For three years he worked at the Le bistroquet in Camden.

While in Hong Kong he homed his skills in Mandarin - Oriental cooking, under the watchful eye of Michelin star chefs in an array of fine dining restaurants.

This was followed by more formal training in England. His father was the original Mr Jasmine in the late sixties and seventies, so he grew up with a great knowledge of the Chinese restaurant industry. Tommy has been running the family business for the last fifteen years.
