Wow!
This is 1 hour and 45 minutes of eye-popping, jaw-dropping Wow-ness!
First of all there was The Rubtsov Troupe with a huge skipping rope
and people back-flipping over it and even a fella jumping with another
fella stood on his shoulders!

Then
The 3 Alexanders came on spinning massive metal squares and then
cubes. This was followed by Andrey Averiouchkine the clown who played
the accordion while bouncing on a tall pogo stick! Then his 16 year
old son played a set of drums by bouncing balls on them - musical
juggling - amazing!
Irina Cherkasova was swinging around on the trapeze - she wore a
safety wire - but was so strong and precise that she didn't need
it.
The
highlight of the evening for me was The Panov Family (mum, dad and
18 year old daughter) who were foot jugglers. They arrived on a
bike which dad then balanced upright on his head and the daughter
sat on the handlebars and foot juggled!
The
mum and dad then lay on their backs with feet in the air spinning
large drums and then passing them to each other. But the best bit
was when dad balanced a pole on his feet with 2 chairs either end
that the ladies sat in and he spun the pole round with his feet
and round went the ladies! What strength! What balance! What a spectacle!

After
the break it was The Bourgrova Sisters who balanced on a small plank
on top of a cylinder, on top of a bowl, on top of a table. And then
they started juggling! Simultaneously! One of them even balanced
a long pole on her head and twizzled a stick and juggled at the
same time!
Igor
& Slavi were a strength act where Igor spent nearly the whole
act standing on his hands including walking up steps. Maxim &
Ekaterina juggled hats and Katia Rubtsov spun 8 hoops around her
and was a fab dancer.
Then,
to finish, another of my favourite parts - The Rubstov Troupe were
amazing tumblers with 4 trampolines and a large crash-mat but it
was all over too quickly. In fact it all was. This fast-paced show
is packed with so much that I never had chance to take a breath.
The
clowns do a bit during every set change to keep things flowing and
the production as a whole is as slick as each individual act. There
is plenty of razzamatazz - all of the costumes are very showbiz
- and the music is dramatic, uplifting and very atmospheric.
In
fact it was a perfect evening of live entertainment - and don't
think that you needn't go now that you've read all about it. Because
what I've written isn't even half of it. Go!
