The Lord of the Rings (LOTR) films are famous all across the globe.

Peter Jackson’s six films (the LOTR films and the three that tell Bilbo Baggins’s story in The Hobbit) have collectively won the most film awards of any film series in history.

They were based, as you probably know, on J.R.R. Tolkien’s novels. However, they were so detailed, that much of what featured in the books never made it to the big screen.
