YouTuber, Braydon Bent challenges the star of Channel 4鈥檚 Educating Yorkshire and head teacher, Mr Burton (aka Matthew Burton) about the realities of starting secondary school.

Braydon quizzes Matt on the rumours he has over-heard in the playground, the stories older students have shared with him and the problems he expects to find when making the move, in an attempt to get to the truth.

Q1 鈥 I鈥檝e heard you set homework every single night for the children 鈥 what if the footy鈥檚 on tele?

Even if you get homework every single night, it will be a manageable amount. If you get yourself organised, get home and get it done, then you can slide it to one side and enjoy your evening.

Q2 鈥 One of the biggest worries at the minute is bullying鈥 what鈥檚 your thought on that?

If you feel like you鈥檙e being bullied, make sure you talk to someone you trust. Now, with mobile phones and social media, bullying can happen at any time, even when you鈥檙e not in school. That鈥檚 why it鈥檚 really important that you tell someone so they can do something about it.

Q3 鈥 People are worried about losing friends and not making new ones. What鈥檚 your opinion on that?

You鈥檙e not going to have exactly the same mates at the end of secondary school as you do at the end of primary school. Naturally, your friendship groups will change because you get to meet lots of brilliant new people who you鈥檝e never had the chance to meet before.
