There’s a familiar saying that you should practise what you preach. But sometimes you should practise what you present as well.

So fair play to Dara Ó Briain for submerging himself fully into The Family Brain Games experience by having a go at some of the tricksy challenges for himself.

Dara is no slacker when it comes to the academic side of life. Although he’s best known as a comedian and TV host, he studied maths, chemistry and theoretical physicals at University College Dublin and is a former winner of Ireland’s National Debating Championship.

With a strong foundation for tackling the intelligence questions set by the Brain Games’ Cognitron computer, how did he fare in comparison to other competitors?
