Many Hindus believe that creation is an infinite cycle of universes created by Lord Brahma, maintained by Lord Vishnu and destroyed in readiness for re-creation, by Lord Shiva.

These three gods are all forms or aspects of the Supreme Spirit Brahman. Therefore, it may be said that the natural world, including its majesty, beauty and complex design, reveals the omnipotence of Brahman to many Hindus.
