Remember that there are three simple rules of surds:

Rules of surds
1\(\sqrt a \times \sqrt a = a\)
2\(\sqrt {ab} = \sqrt a \times \sqrt b\)
3\(\sqrt {\frac{a}{b}} = \frac{{\sqrt a }}{{\sqrt b }}\)
