Sustainable Development Goals

The United Nations have issued 17 ambitious goals to try and build a better, fairer, and more sustainable future for the world.

Sustainable Development Goal 7 aims to ensure everyone has access to reliable, sustainable, affordable energy.

Across the world, access to clean, affordable, and reliable energy is still an issue.

While developed countries have made significant steps to reduce the reliance of fossil fuels and move to cleaner, more renewable sources of energy generation, many less developed nations are still dependent on dirtier fuels for heating homes and generating electricity.

One of the key challenges in addressing climate change will be to make sure that developing nations have access to affordable, clean and renewable means of generating electricity to lessen the dependence on fossil fuels.
