Completing the performance skills unit
To complete the Performance Skills unit, you must demonstrate a range of movement and performance skills in two physical activities.
Performances within these two activities will be compared to six key criteria:
- the performer must have the ability to select and safely apply a range of movement and performance skills, with some control and fluency
- the performer should be able to demonstrate body and spatial awareness with some identifiable patterns and rhythms
- the performer will need to work co-operatively with others
- the performer will demonstrate techniques, composition or tactics safely
- the performer will make appropriate decisions and adaptations in response to variables
- the performer will demonstrate some consistency of movement and performance skills in straightforward contexts
