As the clock started to strike, Cinderella鈥檚 face changed from smiling to a mixture of shock and fear 鈥 eyes wide open, mouth slightly open and an immobility suggesting her panic.

You鈥檙e 16. You鈥檙e out for the day in London. You look at your bag and realise your phone has been stolen.
Laughing at his friend鈥檚 joke, his laughter soon subsided as he fumbled in his bag for his phone. He started to breathe quickly and his eyes widened in panic and his mouth opened in a shocked 鈥極鈥 shape.

Your team has just scored the winning goal.
As the team scored the goal, her eyes widened in disbelief and she held her breath in anticipation. Then as she realised it was indeed a goal, she smiled broadly. Her eyes shone with pleasure as she opened her mouth wide to shout her approval.
In these examples there are four details of how the mood was suggested: the change, the wide eyes, the open mouth and the immobility. The panic or delight is an indication of what the characters wanted to suggest. Your answer may not be identical to this but check that you can identify the features you need.
