In order to grow, plants need water, sunlight and soil.
Like plants, people also grow and change a lot as they get older.

Pip has a watering can and is watering a plant with red flowers.
PIP SINGS
PIP: Watering the plant! La la la la! I'm gonna call you Rosie Red! Because thats the colour of your flowers!
Declan runs past with a basketball and stops to see what Pip is doing.
DECLAN: Hi Pip!.. em鈥hat are you doing?
PIP: I'm helping this plant grow, by watering it! It needs water, sunlight, and soil to grow!
DING
The narrator talks about growing while we see animations of a plant growing and a person as a baby, and then growing up.
NARRATOR: Great job Pip! Like plants, people grow and need things to make them healthy. Just like a plant changes from a seed into a flower, people change too.
NARRATOR: Have you ever seen a picture of yourself as a baby? You were a lot smaller, but you鈥檝e grown since. As you grow older you will change and that鈥檚 ok.
DING
Declan is standing beside the plant.
DECLAN: Ok, so, if I stand in some dirt鈥 and then look up at the sun, and then I do this鈥
Declan pours water from a watering can over himself. Pip runs in talking.
PIP: Declan did I ever-
She stops mid-sentence when she sees what Declan is doing.
PIP: Eh鈥 What are you doing?
DECLAN: OH- uh鈥 I need to be taller to play basketball!
PIP: HAH!
DECLAN: But this growing stuff is hard work Pip!
PIP: Oh silly! All you have to do is eat healthy foods, exercise everyday, and rest well at night, and you will be a professional basketball player IN NO TIME!
DECLAN: Really?
PIP: YES! Not water yourself鈥 HAHAH
