Students could be asked to calculate a number of quantities based on the data given; size of each section of ride, maximum number of rides per hour and maximum income. There is an opportunity to use imperial to metric conversions. Extra data could be added, including number of staff and wages to work out profit and income. Students could represent their calculations using percentages or fractions.
