The planet Venus
Description
A quick guide to Venus, which is so bright, it can be seen from Earth without having to use a telescope. It is an extremely hot planet and, because of its high temperature, has no surface water. The water just evaporates into the atmosphere.
Classroom Ideas
Pupils could use this clip to learn about Venus鈥 main features. Afterwards, pupils could study the other planets (using more 大象传媒 clips) recording similar and contrasting facts, as well as locating their position in relation to Earth and the Sun. The children could choose to study one planet in detail and convince other pupils of its significance, using persuasive language and impressive scientific facts, as shown in the clip.
