Jews believe in one God, who created the world. Jews believe that they have a special relationship with God because of covenants they have made with him, which began with God鈥檚 promise to Abraham.
Covenant and mitzvot - OCR
Jews believe that God provides them with moral and spiritual guidance by which to live. For Jews, human life has a special, sacred status. Jews have a wide range of beliefs about the afterlife.
Practices - OCR
For Jews, practising their faith involves worship and prayer at home and in the synagogue. Being part of a community, celebrating festivals and marking rites of passage together are all important within Judaism.
