- The highest mountain in England is called Scafell Pike. It is in the Lake District National Park.
- England's largest lake is Lake Windermere.
- The White Cliffs of Dover are tall cliffs that are white because they are made of chalk. They face the English Channel at Dover, where ferries sail to France.
- A famous cathedral in the North of England is York Minster. It was finished in 1472 and took 250 years to build!
- There is a famous lighthouse on Bishop's Rock on the Isles of Scilly. It was built to warn ships of the rocks.
