Do you know any of the planets that can be found in our Solar System? Well, there are eight altogether - Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune.

These planets come in all sorts of sizes and colours, but the best one of all is definitely our own planet, Earth. What colours would you see if you were to look down on Earth from Space? What shape is Earth? Watch Pip and Declan chat about Space and the planets.

Each of the planets travel around a huge, yellow star at the very centre of our Solar System 鈥 do you know what this star is called? It's the Sun! This is known as orbiting, and can take days or years, depending on how far away the planet is.

As each planet orbits the Sun, it also spins. On Earth, the planet spins around once every day. But don鈥檛 worry about getting dizzy, you won鈥檛 feel it.

Here is an interesting fact - the Sun is just one star among billions of other stars in our Milky Way Galaxy. Wow, the Universe really is big! I think Declan will need to pack more than one suitcase if he really wants to start exploring Space鈥
