To, too or two

Homophones are words that sound the same but are spelt differently and have different meanings.

To, too and two are homophones that often confuse people.

To is used to show motion:

I鈥檓 going to the shop.

Too means 鈥榓lso鈥 or 鈥榚xtremely鈥:

I would like to come too but I'm too tired.

Two means the number 2:

Let鈥檚 buy two apples.
