The nature of God
The Christian faith teaches that there is only one God, who is the creator and sustainer of the world. It teaches that God is three Persons – the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit – known as the Trinity.
Jesus as God Incarnate
Many Christians believe that Jesus is God Incarnate, which means God in the flesh. Many Christians hold different beliefs about Jesus, his birth, crucifixion, death, resurrection and ascension.
Morality
Explore what Jesus teaches about morality, including love and forgiveness and the different approaches to decision making.
The Church
The Christian Church has many denominations. Churches and chapels have diverse features and worshipping practices, but all value the importance of prayer – both private and communal.
Church in action
The concept of 'church in action' refers to the support and services the Church can provide for both Christians and non-Christians alike. It also refers to how the Church can help the persecution of Christians in the modern world.
