The up-and-coming duo from Brooklyn, New York were in town to perform some of their latest songs, as part of the ‘Get it Loud in Libraries’ tour.

The indie-punk siblings, Ivan (aged 13) and Ada (11) took to the stage to perform recently released singles ‘K.I.D.S.’ and ‘Stickin It To The Man’ at the intimate gig.

Phil's brief review

The ´óÏó´«Ã½'s Phil Huxley was at the Tiny Masters performance.

"On the day of the gig I'd nipped into Walsall library to pick up some quality books to read on my holiday, when I stumbled upon a band doing a soundcheck - having had to walk through the middle of the stage to get to the sports literature section.

"So I returned a little later that night to see rock history made in Walsall!" said Phil.

"The two kids who were the singers are each about 13 - and both of them were very cool.

"They did an amazing cover of the House of Pain track 'Jump Around'.

"It was, possibly, the most exciting thing to happen in Walsall library since an autobiography was mistakenly shelved in the fiction section.

"There was a diverse mix of people at the gig, lots more alternative looking kids than usual. Sadly there was no bar but squash was available for 50p per cup.

"The librarians certainly looked like they were getting into it too.

"The band were great. I will be checking them out and getting hold of a copy of their album forthwith."
