WalsallWalsall has been enjoying some Bumper Fun this Christmas with a package of events and entertainment. The Christmas lights switch-on got the ball rolling at the end of November with ongoing features including market trading in Park Street each Thursday accompanied by various street theatre, entertainment and music and selected Saturday events. Christmas in Sandwell The ever-popular organist Peter Morris held another successful recital in the town hall at the start of December. PantomimeBloxwich Library Theatre stages the ever-popular Jack and the Beanstalk until Sunday December 23, 2007 (times vary - tickets/information 0845 111 2900) Black Country Christmas ShowTuesday 18 December, 2007 sees a Black Country Christmas Show at Walsall Town Hall, 7.30pm start. The show features local favourite Lizzie Wiggins, compere Doug Parker, musical act Giggetty and comic turn Dandy - tickets, from 拢5, available from 0845 111 2900. Walsall MuseumWalsall Museum on Lichfield Street has plenty going on during the festive period. Peter Morris Exhibitions include Trade Links: Walsall and the Slave Trade which runs until Saturday January 12, 2008 (opening hours vary) ad Under Lock and Key focusing on Willenhall's lock-making industry.
