I made these a few weeks ago .... I bought a pair of cheap plain, white Converse style trainers (only £5!!) and I decorated them by cutting up strips of material :)

      yeah those are the ones, i've actually worn them so much that the soles are falling off, guess that's what you get for buying �5 trainers :D
      i just stuck the material down with some very strong glue, but next time i'm going to hem round the edges first before i stick it down, as after a while they began to fray.
