My inspiration came from my fasination of culutre, motifs and bright colours. The dress is quite durable and strong, so it is possible that it will last for some time. I am very involved with my Nigeria culture and the fabric I used involved all the aspects listed above. I created this style of dress to portray what is in fashion in the western world. In a way, the denim I used for the inside can be seen as a reversable side (third world v western world). This can be eco friendly not only because of the use of jeans, but because there are two dresses in one.The patterns are high in fashion for this summer, great for all looks e.g. hippy chic, bold print, preppy, etc.
