The Denim jacket 'n' Poncho Dress-top

For my design, I have used an old poncho, an old denim jacket, an old vest, buttons, beads, and ribbon for decorations.Using the old poncho and vest, I made a dress-top by sewing them two together; I used a sewing machine because it was much easier than by hand- mainly 'cause the poncho has holes all over it. I trimmed down the old denim jacket and secured it with the ribbon so it wouldn't fray. To make my design eco-friendly I just used old fabrics and materials, all of which can be recycled. My main inspiration for this design was small decoration objects such as buttons and beads - scattering them randomly gave a hippy and funky vibe to my dress top.
